With respect, since day one you have been complaining about the closure of the border, particularly with respect to your work. What do you have to complain about with these changes? And considering this was decided in the National cabinet, whom do you suggest is playing politics. Fair dinkum, mate. That's all I want to say. Here is the new border zone. Where is the basis of your complaint?

You will be required to comply with quarantine requirements in government‑arranged hotels should the medical facility be unable to quarantine you within their facility. Any stay within the government‑arranged hotel will be at your own expense however you will only be charged the nights used.
Border residents
There have been changes to the areas included in the border zone—view the updated border zone map (PDF). A border zone resident is someone who lives in a community on the Queensland New South Wales border. This includes both sides of the border – people who live in Queensland but work or go to school in their neighbouring border town, or people who live in New South Wales but come to work or school in their neighbouring border town in Queensland. Border zone residents can cross the border for any purpose.
And while we are at it Rick, would you please tell us how many days work you have missed from the border closure, and tell our Victorian friends about the hardships you have had to put up with.
Sounds like you got off light then, well apart from a busted leg.
My last journey down to the olde RAH cost $900 FFS! Time before was $800 ( 8km) Could have got a stretched Limo for less than that. Not much chop if I needed en route medical care, but boy o boy, think of the street cred.:Rolling:
Just needed an add on Mariachi Band to announce my arrival. Big sombreros an' all. Alas alas NIB wouldn't have paid for that.[bigrolf]
As a matter of fact here is the FNQ Anthem.
