That's probably been the opinion of the older generation through out history. In this particular case, it was not the ordinary person on the street that started the dog whistling. But , as you say, it was taken up by a large part of the community, over social media. Historians far into the future [ if humans are still around] will not regard this as our finest hour. And they would be correct.

Widespread ignorance, and an unwillingness to believe well established facts which happen to be inconvenient.

Given my generation, I could consider it as partly the result of growing up in a society where it is normal to live to the extent of your credit so as to have "now" the things that your parents saved for for years, which has led to short term inconvenience being considered as more importanty than avoiding long term consequences.

A further factor is the general discounting of real knowledge under the mantra of "My opinion is just as good as your facts!"

Not only that, there is no need to prove you had a vaccine to make a entry. There is no need to provide evidence of the adverse event to make an entry. Even if those two things are true, that does not prove that the vaccine caused the event.

VAERS Reporting is only the first step to full on suing for vaccine damages compensation,- for which PROOF of "BECAUSE needs be established. VERY tightly from what I've heard, yet VAERS has at 2011, forked out over $2 billion
(and we thought that dealing with CENTRELINK was 'Impossible'. !)
