I agree with Eevo in that one could argue its age discrimination. However im glad that have made this choice.

Wife was in shops yesterday when an older lady complained to checkout there was no hand sanitizer. Wife had one in her handbag so gave it to her. Small things matter at this time i think... anyhoo.

Something i wonder the past day or 3.

When the local police start to get infected (and i expect they will given the nature of the job) what will happen then?

On a good day police numbers are a debatable subject but if we start loosing numbers then perhaps they will begin to prioritize calls based on ability to attend call outs?

Sounds like a reasonable idea, I can see why it is first thing when they open - there is stock on the shelves. But when you are 60km out of town it does present issues.

As I understand it, the requirement is a health concession card, which could be age, invalid, or age pension.

We do quite a bit of work in Correctional centres.

If the virus gets into one of them it would be a huge issue.

Particularly the larger ones that have over a 1000 tenants, and around 400 staff.

Two that probably ought to be in this thread:-

Coronavirus Update (Live): 169,516 Cases and 6,515 Deaths from COVID-19 Virus Outbreak - Worldometer

Don’t Panic: The comprehensive Ars Technica guide to the coronavirus [Updated 3/15] | Ars Technica

Neither are strictly official, but both seem to be reliable and well respected. The first, in particular, is the most reliably updated one I have found that (try to) keep tabs on the whole world. Also a lot of useful information in the comments, if you have the time and stamina to go through them!

With all due respect to you Bob, regardless if Eevo is a **** stirrer or not and while it's your right to ask this of him, it's also his right to ignore your request.

I don't find anything he says to generally be offensive, in fact I would be more guilty of offending others if we must point a finger. Also what people think about others comments again is their right to make, but I do find it out of line to dictate to others what should and should not be said regardless of the circumstances we live in.

There are and have been far worse going on around the world than Covid-19. I don't see people saying too much about third world hunger, starvation, human trafficking and other human horrific tragedies.

Yes I also realise there are common rules to follow on AULRO, but I dont see Eevo breaking any of them?
    Regards
    Daz
