I can't link the full article. But there is a story in the Australian about China hiding a third of Corona victims

    NoCookies | The Australian

This significantly skews the previous mortality rate down.

Slow Deep breathing there Mr Pickles...

You are going to give yourself a heart attack or stroke at this rate from stress and worry.

The side effects of that gear are more likely to do you in than SARS-CoV-2.

Follow your hygiene/distancing protocols and you will be fine. There’s statistically significantly more chance of doing yourself in driving that HSV Corona Virus

Remember your Sphere of Influence and Sphere of control. Outside of that you cannot do anything.

Please calm down, for the sake of your health. Worry and stress can weaken your immune system.

On another related note the true number of recoveries (ie as an outcome) is underreported. The attached stat' analysis on the ABC website is helpful.

Well that was interesting. So we cannot rely on any of these figures because the reporting is not accurate. That puts the kybosh on everyone's percentages.

Anyone up for a class action to sue the Chinese grubberment?

Goes to show just how close to that razors edge society truly walks. People pretend to be civilised but many are just Neanderthals going through the motions.

I’ve seen 2 larger examples of this now. First time when SA went dark for 4 days. And now SC2.

A milder version takes place every year before Easter or Christmas with Shoppers going nuts - as if the 24 hours without a Supermarket will kill them.

Some interesting stats coming out of China and esp wuhan

46000 cremation urns delivered by all reports over 60 days

All their permanent ovens worked 24hr days and they brought in many mobile units, 4 of which worked so hard they burnt out in the first week..

You'll never know for sure what happened there... That's why I am concentrating on AU figures as they come to hand

Originally it was an early anti-malarial medication, Plaquenil being the hydroxy - version. (fewer side effects, but still a potential problem if you have heart failure...)

Here's the basics:- hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil): Possible COVID-19 Coronavirus Treatment

Keep in mind that "everyone" is headlessly running around trying all and everything to see what (might) work, so standards of Evidence may be elastic...
However, I know that both Chinese and French have looked at this..
France cautiously exploring coronavirus treatment based on anti-malaria drug – BGR

How it works ? Apart from whatever it's thought to do, it is also a zinc Ionophore, which is fancy speak for something that gets more zinc INTO the cells, which then works it's magic against the virus. - Stuffs up it's replication.
Splitting hairs perhaps, but 'zinc glycinate' leads the pack for the variety best absorbed.

Going full 'Natural' you could substitute quercetin for plaquenil, with near zero possible side effects, and it does the same job, ie, gets zinc into the cells
Add vitamin D, (or sunlight) and the usual suspect.... Vit C, preferably IV. For those who leave ICU while breathing.... a 5 day shortening of incarceration is the norm for those IV- C treated patients.

Yes, you will need a scrip. And a woke doctor (been saving that werd for ages !) to understand the limited literature...and jolly good luck in finding any ! Any normal chemist or chain of chemists. Be advised that it's being hoarded by medical types... Nurses AND doctors, who think they know something.
RA and lupus sufferers are not amused.

IF you do end up in the ICU with a garden hose down your throat, then hope they're also woke (there, twice in one contribution!) enough to include 'Persantine' in the anti-platelet line-up. Apparantly used successfully in China, as it does the deed much betterer for clotting in the lungs.

Again, not to be self-prescribed... but you'll need to find a Aged GP who knows how to use it. - Was an old post-op heart valve medication... the current generation only goes back as far as clopidagrel / Plavix.

    Hope that helps.

Its interesting that we Aussies like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists, yet here I am avoiding people while wearing glives, spraying handles and afraid of something so small I can't even see it.

It's because we can't see this virus that makes it so damned scary, Most of us can deal with the dangers that we can see
