Ok, I keep hearing the Health spokesperson, and the NSW Premier saying children under 12 do not need to wear masks, as children don't get/ spread corona. This goes against advice from overseas. If so, why are they spreading the wrong advice, and why doesn't the media question it?

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

And yet more advice to the contrary of what the NSW Premier and Health expert are saying at the press conference. I find this very curious.

Half a million US children have now been diagnosed with coronavirus, with a 16% increase between August 20 and September 3, according to the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children's Hospital Association.

Though fewer children appear to experience severe illness from the virus than adults, one question that has loomed large, especially for those grappling with decisions about reopening schools and day cares, is exactly what role children play in the transmission of the virus. The CDC report suggests that they can and do spread coronavirus.

I think in Aus they say kids under 18 aren't a problem because of the economy. They want schools open and functioning so that parents can go to work. There are many contradictions that are happening when it comes to kids and schools. This is also why it is safe for kids to play sport during school hours, but it is not safe outside of school hours.

I understand the economy focus, but can not reconcile the advice being given by the NSW government. They are not giving the public the best medical advice.. We keep being told that governments are acting on the best medical advice. If they can't be trusted on that, what can they be trusted on? Sorry for being pedantic, but I feel this is an important issue.

I actually went to the trouble of reading the new regulations and they are internally contradictory and the DHHS interpretation that affected my friends isn't actually in the regs at all.

    And then there's this:

The incorrect advice that almost freed us from home quarantine

The regs initially say that anyone who comes back has to quarantine for 14 days .....

I totally agree with you, they're putting a value on lives. I can't respect that.

Interesting article, and no doubt if they didn't quarantine and became infectious they would be fined. They had it in writing both ways.
