Well, officials say they don't think he was infectious at the MCG, but he picked up the infection there. They are trying desperately to trace any links. But they don't know for sure. Their ticketing system was such that can trace all those around him, so far no link found.
People seated in the MCG’s Great Southern Stand’s zone 5 between 12.30pm to 3.30pm, near where the man was sitting, must get tested and self-isolate.
“Anyone who was seated within that zone 5 bubble will be receiving a text message in the next couple of hours, advising them of the situation,” acting Premier Jacinta Allan said on Wednesday.
Yes I can understand that & it was certainly tragic at the time but he/they did offer an immense lot of Assistance but he can't actually get out there & plan & execute firefighting activities, that is what the States employ Multi decorated (?) uniformed district officers for. So far so good this Summer, but I see WA has got a couple of jobs going north of Perth but expecting some 80k winds tomorrow so are trying to get a lid on those beforehand. Best of Luck I say.
