Not likely. Positive quotes of “Will not won’t” are a pipe dream in this context.
If people believe the UN is there for the good of all, then some deeper digging is required. You cannot be fiercely proud of your own nation, want protection for your nation and it’s economy and people and then lump that under the UN.
Perhaps when humans stop looking for solutions to issues and start solving the problem in the first instances we may just progress.
An example is mental health - we spend millions on drugs, therapies and treatments. Let’s take a BIG step back and look at WHY all these issues exist. Launching forward with no regard to the damage it does and then trying to patch that up is how our system operates.
To prevent viruses is far better than treating them.

 "The UN was not created to take mankind to heaven, but to save humanity from hell." Dag Hammarskjold, Secretary General 1953-1961. As for mental health, It's no secret as to why. There is no magic solution, going back would fix nothing. Each generation creates it's own stresses and pressures , as well as taking on the baggage of the generations before. The lingering effects of War, the ever increasing use of drugs, dysfunctional families , just a very small example of why. As to prevent virus's , humans can't prevent the common cold. Or influenza . that is a pipe dream. Combining the brightest and best in the World to work together , that's the way to go.
           The UN is not perfect, but it is indispensable. [President Obama.] One big problem with the UN is the Security Council.;

"Member States accuse the Security Council of being arrogant, secretive and undemocratic but the veto powers resist change. Meanwhile, violations of the U.N. Charter by powerful countries continue to erode the effectiveness of the United Nations." One of the greatest violators of the UN charter is the USA. Veto powers make the security council inoperable at times. :
"Our convoluted world needs the U.N.. The Security Council must be reformed and strengthened to enable the U.N. as a whole to confront and resolve complex challenges of our world."
 It's lazy to be negative, easy to point the finger. EDIT. ;"But the U.N. is not a world government, and it does not have a standing army of peace-keepers ready for deployment. And, it is the Member States that make decisions at the U.N."These setbacks clearly reflect the shortcomings of the U.N. Security Council, and its veto powers that allow some members’ own interests to be placed ahead of the need to end a raging conflict.
The UN at 70, impressive successes and monumental failures.
