Not likely. Positive quotes of “Will not won’t” are a pipe dream in this context.
If people believe the UN is there for the good of all, then some deeper digging is required. You cannot be fiercely proud of your own nation, want protection for your nation and it’s economy and people and then lump that under the UN.
Perhaps when humans stop looking for solutions to issues and start solving the problem in the first instances we may just progress.
An example is mental health - we spend millions on drugs, therapies and treatments. Let’s take a BIG step back and look at WHY all these issues exist. Launching forward with no regard to the damage it does and then trying to patch that up is how our system operates.
To prevent viruses is far better than treating them.
Hopefully those will also not want the Covid vaccine if it ever appears so there will be more to go around,for the people that need it.
On another note I see tourists on arrival in Bali must have paperwork to say they have recently had a Covid test,before travelling,or they will be refused entry.
