Correction .... children's Panadol (why? ... kids don't suffer from SARS19) and Ventolin. Both can be got without prescription.

I'd suspect that non-asthmatics are planning on dosing themselves with Salbutamol (the active ingredient in Ventolin) if they think that they're going to get SARS19.

My wife is Asian - I'd prefer that you kept comments like that to yourself.

She, and a number of her colleagues who are Australians of Asian background, have had people hassle them for "being Chinese" - this thing appears to have given people a sense that it's OK to be racist. It's not.

Unlike I suspect most people on this site I've actually worked in China and whilst I'm not a fan of certain things I'm careful to not personalise it.

SARS-CoV-2 (Sars 19) is the name of the actual virus - COVID-19 is the disease you get from it.

Like RhinoVirus Type 37 is the name of the virus but the Common Cold is what you get from it.
