I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food
A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

"Spanish Flue" 1918?....I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, Multi millions of people killed world wide, but the world did survive.
The fact that the world did recover in a relatively short time, does, I suppose, well me anyway, give one some confidence that we can recover from these things.
I'm not much good on putting up links etc, maybe someone can do that.
Pickles.
Been done Pickles. In a couple of threads, 6 up from the bottom in Walrus. Not the best story to tell, it makes the coronavirus look like a non event. A truly terrible time in the World then , 50 to 100 million deaths. One account claims the flu epidemic wasn't completely over until 1957. I forget exactly what their reasoning for that was, but a sobering thought.
