For the record & to demonstrate it can be done. South Oz has not had a case for 33 days. Source: ABC News.

Not pure arse, but sensible thinking has made this possible.

That's good. Think the NT is up to about 54? days without a case.

There is a running blog on it all here:

Qld Cabinet meeting today to announce decision tomorrow. They seem keen to lift the border controls on July 10, but they've already named Melbourne hotspots as requiring returned travellers to quarantine at home for 14 days, so I wonder if they will open up to everyone except people from those suburbs?

Nothing special there - ACT has not had any since 4 May though one was in quarantine from overseas on 7 June. Similar stats for SA where you had your last on 7 May and then a returned traveller 26 May.

Difference is that the ACT borders have all been open and they have not had the draconian restrictions of others - not the policing either, ACT Police do not have the power to issue fines etc.

Doubt it matters sadly. The numbers are going to overwhelm hospitals everywhere the cases are adding thousands per day. 1-10% of cases or more require hospital treatment. It will not take long for people who are unable to be treated or there families to start yelling loudly.

Digging down a bit more, How and what are they treating the sickening COVID patient. Most importantly, 'WHEN' ?

This treatment is having a healthy measure of success, - when started on time / early, but the kicker is in the comment "...hospitals that PERMIT it's use..."

Probably, the inclusion of IV - ascorbic is sending the critics frothing at the mouth, Traditional medicine it seems, both fears and hates Vit. C with a visceral passion !

Some die-hards would happily risk a patient's life, than utilise IV ascorbic.... ever. Then arrogantly justify their stance. Like here, at 9:15 minutes.

Have as many Vit c tablets as you want. IV ascorbic is used in some cases for cancer patients I think. No idea why you think people hate vit c. Just had a heap in a Tangelo.
My mum and dad both think garlic tablets have warded off colds and flu's. I like it in some of my cooking

A kiwi farmer on 60 minutes might be a bit much for me. Science requires replication not one of wonders.
