The security staff would mostly be casuals without experience in infectious situations, so it's probably unfair to blame them if their employers failed to train them.
I guess they'll need to update the training manual about sex with the quarantine guests now.

Oh for Pete's sake, how much training do people need to do a simple job. Those security idiots displayed as many brain as someone using loopholes to cross borders during a travel limiting period.
There but by the grace of your chosen deity goes you, Mike.

You really must stop this rubbish Ian, you're sounding hysterical.

Just read the NSW Entry Permit explanation for travellers from Victoria, at the link below. Seems broadly similar to the Qld system, with detailed variations.

I notice it does allow interstate people to transit through NSW on the way home to their state/territory of residence.

Apply for a COVID-19 NSW border entry permit | Service NSW

Yarn time. While in Sydney Land based after a year or two at sea. Took to moonlighting as a security guard for about four shifts during the week and 20 odd hour most weekends. They perhaps assumed as I was Navy, I must be trained in civilian security rules perhaps? Brought a nice BMW K100 bike after 5 months work before going off on a ship again far far away. One shift I was give a pistol and put in a jewellery store to secure the jewelry as the models put them on and off. The models also got changed at the same time and have to say they are not shy. Yes there was a gun in my pocket just in case you were wondering

Main point was I did not have any training full stop with the revolver I was carrying that night. I did asked the man who insisted I carry it about fire arms regulations in NSW. Hmmmm. I think the security training required for a job I did briefly in WA was honestly a waste of time. A quick google shows $95 security guard courses in most states. Bet you almost Zero on pandemic management in those.

I did a in car covid 19 test yesterday. There was traffic control out side directing traffic. Masks on their chins at best as they shoved their faces in the window to tell everyone where to go.

Training works for some and fails for those with out aptitude to learn that task.

I did date one of the models I guarded a few month later when I met her later when I was not working. Sydney uni student smart girl. In the US now.

I can hear it already..... "Did you tell the security guard to not have sex with people who are potentially infected?"

Like he needed to have been told.
