Statements have been made that it's a blanket ban on all Victorians.
However, I have also seen claims that when Victorians apply for a pass the question only asks if you have been in Victoria in the past 14 days.
Haven't done it myself, of course. I guess time will tell.

Queensland braces for southern stampede ahead of borders reopening to interstate travellers - ABC News

Good point Mick. Imho this has been one of the more misunderstood problems with Borders. Everyone wants them, each State make up there own rules & before you can say "Bloody Idiots," they are all changed again, for better or for worse.

Seems like Premier Boofhead's bureaucrats for instance, have not enough to do except buggerise the population around & as for other States, I think they may all be waiting to see how the land lies before deciding to change their plans yet again. Govts seem lo relish the present confusion everywhere & that they thrive on it. I may be a tad biased but I don't believe SA has had people unnecessarily jumping through hoops. Yet.

NB. Don't bank on going to your local shops anytime soon as you may find you may be locked down & visits to the shops are banned.

IF and that is a huge IF people used their common sense and stayed in their own State until this virus is either under control or there is a viable vaccine available instead of insisting to travel for personal/selfish reasons there would be NO need for border controls.
This is OBVIOUSLY Not the case, For crying out loud people cannot even bother to maintain social distancing within their own States let alone care about the people that they May infect in other States that they Insist on visiting.

Yep, some of us live near a border and there are many towns right on them, hundreds of thousands of people travel both ways just to earn a crust, go to the doc, go shopping, etc

Take that NSW we beat you again

Victoria has recorded a record number of coronavirus cases with 288 new COVID-19 cases diagnosed since yesterday, the largest daily increase of the pandemic so far.

The previous highest daily rise was in New South Wales, with 212 cases back in March.

Divs, you do have a weird Competitive Sense of Humour.

288! That result is nothing to proud of, if anything, they should be ashamed to even acknowledge it. I guess when one is running around in circles like a chook with no bonce issuing instructions left right & centre (Panic Mode I believe it is called) & every one doing their own thing these things will occur.

But what the ****, it's only the populace & those that one should care about..

Thankfully even our 288 is a pathethicly small number compared to 65,551 new coronavirus cases today in a place demanding all schools reopen

"WASHINGTON (REUTERS, AFP) - The United States on Thursday (July 9) posted 65,551 new coronavirus cases, a record for a 24-hour period, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University. And based on Reuters' tally, it was the third day in a row infections have risen by at least 55,000.
With California, Florida and Texas recently breaking records, hopes are fading for an economic rival and US stocks closed down about one per cent as investors worry another lockdown will cripple businesses.

BLOODY HELL! 65.5 grand! In one 24 hour period.

Remember Donald & his "It'll all be over by Easter" remark. Wassit bollocks. Plonker. I reckon that was said about WW1 but it was Xmas not Easter. In fairness to him though, he didn't specify which Easter.
