Travelers to NZ will be our undoing yet.

We had a family (mum and four kids) travel from Brisbane to Auckland so the kids could attend their fathers funeral after dying suddenly. The family was not granted an exemption to leave isolation in Hamilton early even after a test turned negative so they absconded isolation. Four were caught early on in the evening with the fifth making to Auckland to see his dad before the casket was closed. Turns out one of them visited a nearby aged care facilitiy to use a phone to call a cab.

In another news item, turns out a NZer who left NZ to travel to Sth Korea tested positive after arriving in Korea. This is just hitting the media now and little is actually known. Korean health people think maybe the NZer was infected in Singapore on stop-pver but NZ health authorities are investigating and cannot rule out the person was infectious before leaving NZ. That'd be a bad thing.

May have been a case of being overcome by grief & not thinking straight, but his old dad wouldn't have known he wasn't there, so no point really.

The numbers in Vic a almost stable. The weekly doubling of the daily counts seems to have leveled off Still rampant in several nursing homes saddly. NSW is seemingly following our poor trajectory over the last few weeks of re-escalation.
The one good thinig with NSW is that so far most all cases are traceable, only one yesterday hasn't been, so far.
The original pub cluster hadn't had any positives for a few days, it's the Thai restaurant and a couple of funerals that are seeding things atm.
Of the 17 new cases today only 9 are community transmission, the rest OS returnees.

And a Smart PM who shut airlines and everything before almost anyone else. Love Kiwis unless we are playing them in rugby.

Tassie, WA, NT all have a almost similar advantage. Not in Rugby of course

Nice warlike image designed to scare the crap out of the Opposition but certainly not a good example of Distancing. Maybe this is where you are going tits up?

English Footballers are not much better with all the hugging & kissing & backslapping when someone scores a GOAL. 1x Goal! Is it really worth it?

BTW, that guy #3 from front LH side. Looks like he needs a bit of re -training to get his arm up properly. Unless it is broken.

    Bunch of bleedin' Nancy Boys.

Have to say I got hit hard a few times other than once on a motorbike - Kiwis Littleton and Wellington and Samoan's in Apia - My head and body still recall those games surprised no bones broke in them hitting me and me tackling them!
My ship won in all those places but the wounded needed a few ales+++ to get over the games I am not small. they seemed HUGE and they can dink with me any time Bigger they are the harder they fall.
