But 1 case and 2.5M other go into lockdown. If it is this way forward i don’t think it’s going to be sustainable.

Glad I brought toilet paper yesterday.
You did? That's foresight for you, maybe you should be a Premier?

According to Worldometers, the USA had over a quarter of a million new cases and over 4,000 deaths on the 6th, and looks like even higher numbers on the 7th. Probably over 400,000 deaths by the end of Trump's Presidency, and this is certainly an underestimate by most likely 10-20%, possibly more.

Was having a chat with a colleague who is a UK import this morning when I mentioned that the ACT government had a random road block set up yesterday afternoon on the Barton Highway (instead of the sign that is usually there). He really put Australia's situation in Context. The closest infections to the ACT are 300KM away and total 4 today, none yesterday. The UK had 1100 deaths and 50,000 new infections yesterday.

Police set up pop-up COVID checkpoints in the ACT | The Canberra Times | Canberra, ACT
