We did that on ships deployment O.S.. 330 gents lined up on the wharf. A doc or medic left and right for both arms at the same time and two extras bedside them. The extras were the Catchers for those who fainted with the injections. Surprisingly common It was alphabetical as a bonus Ian. Being a B had its advantages. I got my jabs then a cup of cha and sat and watch to see the catching. It was a hoot. Big small and in between made no difference. About 1 in 50 or a bit better I was not the bookie for it. Come in spinner was cool and the cheer for those going down was huge

    Cruel Cruel bastards.
What is it about an Injection of any type, the needle going in or the after effects, just the enjoyment or the excitement? Never quite worked that one out. I have had many of all sorts but not once have I disgraced my self. Not even when it has been an Anesthetic. Just ZONK!

Mind you when I was 11years old I did not like the Ether Mask for my tonsils & ads, I fought that one & then quickly succumbed.

Am I Arny in a Hospital Theatre gown, perchance?

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
