It was still the early days of the pandemic, and doctors puzzled over a diagnosis. They initially suspected coronavirus and hung signs outside his door warning those entering to wear protective equipment. Mr. Druschitz had already spent two weeks at home with worsening symptoms. He recalls one doctor telling him, “This is what it does to a person.”
Ensuing lab work, however, was ambiguous: Multiple molecular tests for coronavirus came back negative, but an antibody test was positive.

Doctors found that Mr. Druschitz had an irregular heartbeat and blood clots in both his lungs. They sent him home on oxygen, and ultimately did not give a coronavirus diagnosis because of the negative tests. He didn’t think much about the decision until this fall, when he received a $22,367.81 bill that the hospital has since threatened to send to collections.

    OUCH
Mental note to self: The next time someone whinges to me about Medicare, be sure to smack them up the side of their head..(including self)!
    Cheers,

JEEEEEEEZUZ! I'm glad my 6 week stint in the olde RAH & a local Hospital didn't come to that.

6 weeks they guessed & pondered etc while 3 doctors stood at the end of my bed shaking their heads. only to come up with "Community Aquired Pneumonia" So?

After I came out I was required to see some Asian type Specialist bod who was a "Cash up front" operation, (we were probably paying for a new block of flats somewhere sunny) saw him for nearly a year until I decided to walk 'cos he was taking the ****. What he was doing was a bit sus which could have been done by my Local GP.

Oddly enough he didn't like that idea for "some unknown reason". But we knew.

Hand washing? 'er indoors had to challenge him to do that after he returned from a visit to another patient in hospital that had all sorts of skin disease wrong with him.

What eventually worked for me was while visiting an old Railway Dam near here was the breathing in of vapours of Native Flora, Ti Tree, Eucs etc. I chucked up some clear **** & went back to the local hospital with an appetite (hadn't eaten for nearly 2 weeks). Was as good as gold after that.

    Just sayin'.

So they want to set up a "bubble" between here and Singapore for those vaccinated. This will allow anyone coming from Singapore to enter Australia WITHOUT quarantine. Will this only apply to Singapore passport holders or anyone that passes through Singapore?

Now, someone correct me if I'm wrong but my understanding of this experimental vaccine is this:

    a) It does NOT prevent you from catching the China virus,
    b) It does NOT prevent you from transmitting the China virus,
    c) It DOES (supposedly) prevent catastrophic symtoms and hospitalisation, and
    d) It DOES (supposedly) prevent death.

So, therefore, we are going to allow people into Australia that could very well be carrying this China virus and not know it and be transmitting it all over the place when we currently (and for the forseeable future) have the worst vaccination stategy of most first world countries.

HEY J1, You may or may not wish to consider the following brought to light today when indoors told the GP that it might be a good idea if couples coming together ensure one of them is capable of driving if the other has a bad reaction. Give it a week or so then go back again for the un- vaccinated one to get it.

Doing it this way means the risk of both getting a bad reaction (unlikely) at the same time is reduced.

GP admitted they hadn't thought of that but was a good point (no pun intended). Maybe others have, but not necessarily. She didn't get the Dr Finlay Medal for nought, you know.

Hang on, it could have been the Florence Nightingale Medal. One or the other.

EDIT. 16/03 According to her it is the Gubmint (didn't say which one, but probably both) that haven't got themselves sorted out with this" Rooms Booking system". Sounds like it could be a Schamozzle if that it correct.

    Why am I not surprised?
