India's fortnight of pure hell. You just couldn't make this up. Looking at India from afar, it seemed prosperous enough, on the way up. Yes, there was / is a lot of poverty. However, under the severe pressure of a COVID horror, the system has simply collapsed. And it's the same for rich and poor alike. It's hard to see India coming back in any good shape from this. As it says, this is a time no Indian has seen before. And a time to appreciate what we have.
India is simply collapsing from the world's worst coronavirus outbreak.

Fittingly, to tell us that he'd been vaccinated.
A year ago the self-appointed experts were telling us that there would never be a vaccine for COVID-19 because no-one had ever created one for a coronavirus. The experts' premise was wrong because there had in fact been a workable SARS vaccine and there's now a dozen or so for COVID.
Edit: apparently, somewhere, but not here
The US is vaccinating about 2.7 million people per day, we're doing about 2.7 people per month. Including Eevo.
