I remember an ad spiel from a plumbing mob in London years ago that went along the lines of:

'You've tried the cowboys, now try the Indians'.

Suffice to say that my (alleged, by ICU staff..) "PTSD" is not doing particularly well against what is so clearly a load of B/S - by SEVERAL parties/governments, so yes, I'd agree with the above.

Add to that is what appears to be a deliberate and very skilful 'Official DIS-information' policy by governments and their Fellow Travellers....which would go a long way to explaining why the new-at-th-practice - Psych I've started seeing is almost at full booking capacity. In 4 weeks !
    - My GP who has a special interest in Mental health, has hired another GP to take over his overflow of "normal" pts.

Leaders are supposed to offer inspiration, support and Hope to their populace; - at worst, Truth. IMHO, they've fallen short.
    - I'd settle for complete Truth, the Whole Truth and nothing but the uncomfortable Truth. I've lost faith in both the 'chooks' AND their Feeders.

Mate keep making the calls to get to see who you need to. You are spot on about there being a lot of people having problems. All of this will get better and this time next year some normality will be returning. Hang in there and look after yourself. Cheers

The Lebanese Muslim Society is one of the community organisations leading the way in vaccinating the population in Sydney's multi cultural suburbs. A Lakemba hub has done over 1,000 vaccinations in three days. " In many ways it's a misnomer that many people don't want to get vaccinated. It's they may not be able to drive and don't want to go on public transport so having local clinics makes sense." Labor member for Lakemba, Jihad Dib said. " if you make it available locally, people will come ".

In a small pharmacy 40 KM's West of Sydney's CBD, Veronica Nou has singlehanded vaccinated 10% of Oxley Parks residents in a week. Ms Nou was stunned by the demand, giving jabs in the back room of the only shop still open in the suburbs High Street.

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Another donut day in Qld. Who said zero Covid was impossible?
Qld is requiring essential workers to have at least one jab to enter Qld.

A sheep farmer friend had his 'jab' a few days ago & when the nurse told him how many she had done in one day, he replied that he usually did that many sheep in one hour!
