[QUOTE=V8Ian;2993155]You bastard, Noel! Are you trying to make me jealous? I must admit after a feed of marinated spare ribs, staring into the fire with a mug of Tata billy tea I was wondering what all the fuss is about

Think I might get the firepit out again tonight and pretend to be camping. Only left the house 3 times in over 3 weeks, including yesterday for a flu jab.

Was that only because the Navigator told you to shift your arse & finish the painting or go & find something to do.? "there's plenty that needs doing, Mike?" I can hear it now.

I have been resheeting the roof on the house and replacing all the timber that those bastard whiteants have destroyed and I still have about a week or so of work on the roof to go untill it is fully renewed.
I have also been working on the veggie patch and that is finally looking the goods at last..
This lockdown has been a bit of a blessing in disguise really because I have finally started to tackle the jobs i have been putting off for years

No, although that could happen.Lockdown/Stay-in-place situation, What are you planning to do?
I went out because the medical practice rang and said my name had finally come up for the flu jab.
The house painting is rolling along, interrupted regularly by The Navigator wanting help to rebuild the vegie garden.

    Nothing changed here,during the week,its just work,work,work.

    Suppose i shouldn't complain,it could be a lot worse.

But it is relaxing on the weekend,as we don't go anywhere, getting a few things done around the place here and there.

    Painting like others on here...

Its only relaxing until the grandkids come over then its pandemonium for a few hours, with a relaxing sleep after they bugga off

Maybe she could ask Trouty, he seems a bit of a dab hand with Veggie plots.
