yeah my work can watch who is online by looking at the status on skype/messengers. I just turn those programs off. I find messenger type programs are helpful to others, but not so much me..... 'cos eveyrone wants to ask me questions, that I often don't have the answers too. So have to go off an do the investigation they themselves could do in order to answer.

last week I worked from the office as there was only 2 people there ... (and its only 6minutes drive through the bush from my house). This week I'm supposed to be on holidays at the beach .... Obviously were stuck at home with the kids. I've ended up only working about 2.5 days so far as I keep getting called ..... That was my fault, I suggested I was stuck at home, so just yell out if they needed help Imagine if your job could be done by anyone right now .... you'd be out the door to be replaced at a later stage in a heartbeat.

I'm just an IT person .... so I'm certainly not essential at all. though the company I work for certainly is ( healthcare ).

Being a truck driver involved in the food supply chain makes my job essential.

So for me it is business as usual, providing no one at work gets it.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."
