My long suffering wife has, on occasion, stated that I should be 'Locked up'!

We're definitely not in 'Lock down'. It's just another media term.

I prefer to tell people that we are in 'Splendid isolation'!

We have food, beer, wine and a very fine Port or two, a 6.5 Kva genny and we're on tank water.

    Sod the lot of you!

You might want to check locally.
When I asked two days ago, a pharmacy here in Wynyard Tasmania was offering the general flu vaccine for $29, with patients booking in to be jabbed, but the Seniors version was not due until the first week in April and was to come from medical practices.

Today I have been putting flat pack storage units for my wife's She Shedz. DSCN4296.jpgDSCN4295.jpgDSCN4294.jpg 6 down & another 6 to go , & 4 out of the 6 I want to modify so will take a bit longer & will need to think about what I am doing so i don't stuff it up.

Also had a bit of a clean up out side , washed all the paths down & cleaned the glass doors were the dog keeps drawing with his nose.

I wouldnt worry yet, it may just depend on the manufacturer of the brand your GP uses.

Clinical update: 2020 seasonal influenza vaccines – early advice for vaccination providers | Australian Government Department of Health
Optimal protection against influenza occurs within the first three to four months following vaccination. Timing of vaccination should aim to achieve the highest level of protection during peak influenza season. This usually occurs from June to September in most parts of Australia. Vaccinating from April provides protection before the peak season.

I was a bit surprised too - my employer arranges it each year and the earliest date I could get through them this year was 16 April, but when I was at my Doctor’s for other reasons I noticed that they had it. It’s definitely the new one because there’s no way my GP would be administering old ones.
