The rule in our car is, when bikes are on the roof, is it's everybody's responsibility to yell at the driver if they think there's the slightest chance of hitting something.

A friend of mine a few years ago got a kayak through his rear window - off the car behind him, when stopping at an intersection.

They should have strap from the back and the front as they are slippery suckers haha.

I love the Coorong and have wanted to take disco there for a long time. Been a very long while since I have been. To have the kayak now opens up water for me again. Which whilst I will nose the wheelchair in water, it will kill the bearings really fast if sea water, but I can't go far. I'm really looking forward to the kayak to be able to enjoy water again in a way that doesn't break my wheelchair [emoji38]
