doesnt it depend on the size of the bird??

How big is a perch?? Any bigger than my frypan and it's too big!!!

Never mind that how high is a horse ?

And what's the difference between a high horse and a low horse ? (in feet and inches).

Any why are people always so insistent that others come down off their high horse ?

a difference between a high horse and a low horse is about an inch

as a horse is measured in hands a hand is four inches........

a horse is measured from 14.3h and upwards anything below is classed as a pony.......hence your high horse and your low horse.....

But seeing we are asking about measurements, does anyone know how long a chain is?

My inquiry is to do with a book I'm currently reading where they were measuring their granted blocks by amount of chains in each direction and the incident with Augustus Poeple where his corner mark was out due to his chain being stretched

Its either 33 feet or 33 yards, I think. No its 22 yards.

Why is the word Phonetic not spelt the way it sounds, and for that matter why is abbreviate such a long word!!>
