    Venus putting on a display this evening, Friday

    Grab your binoculars or set your telescope on Venus.

    It's in conjunction with the Pliades right now .

    Anyone west of the east coast of Australia has plenty time to see it.

    The moon is far enough away to allow some good light there, or darkness whichever way you like it.
