I would give FIVE points for a series I or forward control and lose all points for a wrong make altogether (ie. Toyota or Nissan) as opposed to just losing points for a wrong model.

I wouldnt play that game with stacey in the car. I get the comment "You do realise they think you are an idiot dont you?" when ever i wave at someone in a land rover, if i started giving points for spotting them i dont know what i would get called.![]()

Maybe change the rules to "Double points for a return wave"
ACE you get it rough. My better half points out when I don't wave. Usually means I didn't spot it.
As for the game well. My youngest Mr 2 has only a couple of types of vehicles in his world: Herby, Truck, Big truck and BIIIIIIGGGGGGG truck!
Master almost 5 loves trucks (any 4WD) and BIg Trucks. He thinks cars are there to be annoying and often wants them to go so he can see a truck. He also tells me cars go to little bumps but can't do the big bumps like our truck. Still trying to teach the the difference between Landy's and the rest.
Yes we often have played this game ( great minds think alike or fools never differ???)
I used to yell LANDROVER usually first, but the kids got pretty good at it and dad doesnt wanna play anymore![]()
My firstborns first words were landrover ( although I did hear him say sonnoffabitch first) although I dont want to know that. Musta spent too much time watching me work on the Landie![]()
Spot the Defender game is one played all the time around me. When driving up north we count them. There are never enough but when we get to Broome the tally starts to rise much faster. I think the aluminium Defenders must be popular with the fishing Broome-ites.
Around town the standard call is "nice Landy" when ever you see one. A mate says his his young 5 yr old says it when he spots them even when I'm not around.
Since I pranged my Defender and it is taking forever to get repaired mates love to point them out more than ever..
"Look, Jim, there's a nice looking Landy. No dents. Its owner must care for it and look after it"
This is followed by me weeping hysterically, hitting myself and tearing at my garments.
We are wondering what our 3 yr old is saying atm, I am hoping it isnt the word that sounds like "truck", perhaps I shouldnt have him around when some twerp cuts me off in trafficMy firstborns first words were landrover ( although I did hear him say sonnoffabitch first) although I dont want to know that..
I empathise with the weeping mate, I would be too"Look, Jim, there's a nice looking Landy. No dents. Its owner must care for it and look after it"![]()
. Good to see the landy game is alive and well in all manner and forms, and Ace, you can just play it inside your head, works for me when I am driving on my own
