Aussie Disposals goes into voluntary administration

Aussie Disposals goes into voluntary administration, blaming coronavirus, bushfires, drought - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

It looks like they may keep some of the stores open and those that were franchised may also continue.

They closed the local store here BC (Before Covid-19) back in January. So the epidemic would seem to be the last straw for a business already in trouble.

    Same for the Enogerra shop.

That's a shame.. I'm sure stores like BCF and Ananconda have taken a lot of trade from them. My local one is still going, they are in a prime location so that probably helps them.

The Enoggera shop always seemed to be busy and stocked a lot of gear that was bought by/from the local base. Over the years since they opened (did they replace the fruit shop or newsagent?) the road became very busy making it difficult to stop. When they opened you could stop on the road outside the door. Been a long time since of an afternoon I sold papers to drivers stopped at those traffic lights
