Agreed ... I was heading down the Western Highway before Christmas and slowed to 40 when passing a police car and nearly got cleaned up by a couple of vehicles behind me that didn’t see any need to slow down.

In my case..............I don't watch commercial radio, listen to commercial radio, read the socialist fashion accessory or the little paper, not on stalkbook, don't go past billboards often, etc ............... how would I know?
At the very least vicroads should include these notifications with rego renewals, licence renewals and maybe advertise this stuff on aulro. [thumbsupbig]
Didn't WA abandon a similar law due to the sheer number of rear end accidents and subsequent injuries?

Spoke with a local cop who confirmed that many nose to tail collisions occur when they are doing roadside activities...he said basically from someone rubber necking...slowing down too quickly or even stopping completely. Same for roadworks and workers who unfortunately suffer from the same stupidity.
You see the same unawareness in shops where a person will be completely unaware of the massive line forming behind them as they chat to the check out person or fiddle for cards or coins.
Just humsn nature I guess😐
