Was fishing at K.I. a few years ago. Coming back I found 3 tonnes of boat and similar in the Disco moving from 110 to 25kph in a very very close thing. I was not tail gating. I had no idea as the signs were still a fair way in front by at least 1km when hit hit the skids. Could not see passed a truck ahead to have a clue it was about to happen.

Happily ABS means no skid marks on the road. They may have been elsewhere inside the car [bigrolf]

The Rail Line, which is still in regular use for grain trains, still runs down the middle of the main Street in Wycheproof,...the mains st, "Broadway" forms part of the Calder Highway. The driver of the train has been known to stop the train when reaching a point near the milk bar, grab himself something to eat, and then trundle off again. Strictly against the rules, but it still happens!

Maybe IF you had been travelling slower 80 to 90kph you wouldn't have had too much drama pulling up with 3T of boat hanging off the back[bigwhistle].
I have Always found it Safer to drive to conditions and Not the speed limits Especially when towing heavey[thumbsupbig]

Have I ever mentioned the body bags I filled up? It wasn't the speed the air-force Gents were traveling at just the sudden and total STOP.

PS is it you towing a caravan doing 80kph in front of me often with a line of traffic behind you [biggrin]
