About 24% of eligible voters voted for Trump, so maybe not all Americans are crazy.

We have our next cruise booked for August next year , been on over a dozen cruises in all parts of the world and havent gotten sick yet. Sure there are things you need to be wary of but basic common sense and good hygein has worked for us so far.

Been on some of the biggest cruise ship in the world and i think the smallest was 600 passengers but each has its good and bad points . I dont see any reason why the cruise industry wont survive , they will need to maybe rethink the buffet style eating.

A few ships may be renamed to avoid the stigma of what this year has brought , but humans forget very fast these days in the fast paced life , and life and cruising holidays will continue .

    Just my thoughts .

Do you know, the first time I ever heard of Wyndham was in the late 1946 fillum 'The Overlanders' with the late Chips Rafferty, the late Daphne Campbell (Mary Parsons) & some UK stars (probably also Late by now) when a bunch of Bosses & Drovers brought a big Mob down to Brisbane I think it was, before the Japs could get them at Wyndham Meat Works.

Not sure if it was based on a true Story or not but for the time it was a ****hot B & W Australian fillum with plenty of Gum Trees & Kookaburra calls (probably dubbed in) & you could feel the dryness & heat of the country. I think I fell in love with Daphne & was quite sad when she passed away.. (Well, I was only about 10, so very susceptible to a girl who could ride like the wind) She was a one time Head Honcho of Alice Springs in real life I understand.

But the 50% who didn't bother to vote effectively voted for him! And it is not as if they weren't told "if you don't vote, Trump will win!"

    AH HAPPY DAYS.

Before road trains Kimberley bullocks were commonly overlanded to Dajarra to go on rail trucks. A mob of a couple of thousand head of big bullocks across the long dry stage of the Murranji Track. Nat Buchanan, the Farquharsons of Inverway, Matt Savage , Steve Wall, the Zigenbine clan. By Christ, they must have been tough men.

Tell that to the families of the people who have died from COV19 that these cruise ships brought to Australia.

I believe the correct figures are about 27% each for Trump and Clinton (although Clinton got about 1 million more votes than him).

So you believe that a large inanimate object carried the virus to the passengers , the cruise ship carried and caused the spread of the virus?

That's impossible Trout . The passengers caused the spread themselves . I'm genuinely sorry for the loss of life , but it could have been prevented by good personal cleanliness and hygiene.
