I wouldn't take much notice of what the media puts out.

In the USA, the protesters/rioters account for less than 0.5% of the population.

An opinion poll taken this week by one of the lefty rags in the USA found that 56% of those polled reckon Trump was more likely to uphold law and order while only 34% reckon he wouldn't

So even the lefties don't trust the lefty media.

If a similar poll was taken here, I think you would find that the majority of people have a far higher regard for our police than the media makes out.

Any tv show about hospitals should also be cancelled as they glorify the aftermath of the violence and target people at their weakest for nothing more than commercial profit

TV should be banned as it takes away from family time...

I always take individual polls with a grain of salt and look at aggregate polls instead. You get much closer to the 'actual' poll numbers, when you combine many polls to get an 'average' which helps ameliorate those with low sample numbers, bad sample questions, etc.

Minneapolis council have voted (with a non-vetoable vote) to get rid of the police force.

“We are going to dismantle the Minneapolis Police Department and replace it with a transformative new model of public safety.”

I have no idea what that means.
