I wonder if it would be an offence to answer the door to God Botherers whilst naked?

My front door is on the side of the house (not visible from the street) and they'd have to ignore the door bell at the front gate, then open the 6ft high gates to get to the front door.

Didn’t get a visit from the boys in blue and haven’t had a visit from the local jehovas either and it’s been nearly 20 years
The missus sees them walk straight past our driveway to the neighbours for a chat
When she asked why they don’t come to our place I asked her if she would go and knock on the door of a house with a Land Rover parked out the front 🤣

I answered the door quite innocently one Sunday morning years ago when I was in a share house with a towel wrapped around my waist and the purveyors of religion were mortified and departed whilst apologising profusely for disturbing me, so in answer to Ron, you don't need to be naked to achieve the desired response.

Our place at Ravenshoe is 27 acres with a 1k long driveway up & down dale, with a creek crossing & almost 4WD only.
One Saturday afternoon SWMBO was doing the mowing on the ride on in skimpy shirt, no bra & knickers whilst carefully drinking wine.
3 7th dayers come wondering up the drive way over the hill & SWMBO saw them as they saw her.
SWMBO thought well I've been rumbled I might as well go & see what these folk want.

Apparently nothing, as the beat a hasty retreat back down the drive way without saying a word.
SWMBO was quite amused & went back to mowing.

We had a similar experience out at the farm one Sunday not long after we bought it. The driveway is probably about a Km long and comes down a hill with gravel on a well drained road and crosses a flat that at the time had no road base on it and was negotiable by 4wd or tractor but not much else.
We watched as a station wagon came down the hill wondering if it was an unknown neighbour coming to introduce themselves. We started wandering towards the muddy bit to warn them not to come much further but they drove up to us and all piled out of the car in their Sunday finery to give us a chat about their wonderful religion. After thanking them for their efforts and telling them we weren't interested we asked if they wanted us to pull them to the firm part of the road with the tractor as they had nowhere to turn around. They declined our help and we watched bemused as the dad drove the car and the rest of the family pushed the car out of the bog and back on to the road and drove off. Haven't had a visit since out there, maybe we are on a blacklist......

"Oh yeah BTW, Nice tits Luv".

It would be rude not to, Ron.

I suggest you have a close examination for odd things around your front entrance.

They could have used the Tramp's Code of leaving stones in a particular pattern &/or other signs advising following tramps that they were welcome, or to bugger off before the owner puts the dogs onto them or calls the cops.
