Spiders crawl across your face as you sleep in Sydney: The terrifying stats

We have a family of Huntsman spiders living in a blackbutt tree about 5 metres from the front door of the farm house
If you look into crack in the main trunk sometimes you can spot big mama eye boggling ya
Always at least 2 or 3 (visible) in the house, I’ve found them on my face a couple of times (must like the beer I drink), in the washing, cutlery, one even got into the fridge, it was a bit slow for half an hour when I grabbed it out
If you watch them you’ll see them hunting insects you didn’t even know were there
Great for the mozzies at night time (maybe that’s why there on my face), I’ve seen them hunting mozzies on the ceiling, moths and all sorts of things
My boys play with them, carry them
around on there body try and scare the missus, throw them off the roof, put them in ice cream containers with other insects and give it a shake
They still always give me the heebies when I first see them
1985 110 Dual Cab 4.6 R380 ARB Lockers (currently NIS due to roof kissing road)
    1985 110 Station Wagon 3.5 LT85 (unmolested blank canvas)

I remember when I was a very young boy, I went to the kitchen picking up a big bowl for the meal only to find out a big long and hairy black 8 legs with a bag of white eggs underneath. My dad was hearing me screaming running out of the kitchen and thrown the bowl broken away. Lol

I once had one have a heap of babies (est 50+)which all sauntered across the kitchen ceiling.

Of course SWMBO freaked out so I nuked them and then we had a blizzard of silk threads and scurrying around the floor until they succumbed.

Worse was one of those white cross spiders, which I hit with a thong only to release hundreds of babies from her back, which took numerous thong strikes and chemical attack to subdue.

As already confirmed, a small Huntsman spider, or moulted exoskeleton.
Many years back, heading out for the day with entire family onboard, my wife k\let out a blood curdling scream. I nose dived the car to a halt nad asked what was wrong. Wife trembling pointed to a very, very large Huntsman spider on the windscreen. It was outside, so I very manly promptly leapt out of the car and swiped the spider off the screen. No harm to the spider , but i was in agony. The spines on the body of the spider had lodged ih the backs of my fingers. It was many days until the pain subsided.
I now carefully trap such in a container for removal if required.

But that's to be expected in a Deefer, a bloody possum could almost get through the various holes and gaps What name of this spider?

I used to have at least one Huntsman running around inside the old girl at any one time, but in a Disco it's a very different scenario for some reason? What name of this spider? What name of this spider? What name of this spider?
