Ha ha!! I had a Hayward wagon kit fitted to an HZ wagon, and yes after discovering a stock rangie classic was 50 times the vehicle in all ways, I too moved from the overlander to a RRC 2 door

I had a Navara D40 once, was worst car I've ever owned, so didn't own it for long!
I've owned so many cars [emoji85][emoji23]
VC Commodore - 6cylinder. It would stop running for no reason, and would only restart when it wanted to. Could be right away or up to an hour later.
Yellow Corolla 2 door auto..had 3 speeds and the pillarless side panels could be flexed in and out by hand. Could not destroy it by constant thrashing...auto slamming..valve bouncing...my god I tried..
We sold it 3 months later because the new wife's life was worth more than the car. Sold it for 500 bucks.
OMG..she just reminded me of the Jag..XJ6 L. An absolute rust bucket imported from the UK. It had rust holes big enough to put you fist thru in the sill..guards..and floor. It chewed oil and the 4 shocks had rusted off the back end. It smelt like a damp bat cave.
I used chicken wire pushed into the holes with heaps of bog to fill the holes..resprayed it with a Homestyle Hardware Wagner electrostatic gun..and sold it to a rich tech man named Pete.
Visiting a Jag concours some time later we saw a green Jag on display. Is that our old Jag...wife said? I looked in amazement..nodded.. and we quickly left before Pete saw us.
I was young then and would never sell such a lemon to anyone nowadays🙄
My brothet had a triumph dolomite sprint........enough said
I will second that The Dolomites were not too bad but the Sprint " enough said" They were quick but did not like working on the motor's . From memory there was a problem with the air filters that cause early engine failure & the water pump was a pig to set up , I think they had shim's to adjust the bearing & impeller preload .
