Thread: tax cuts- what will you spend yours on?

As I took great care to remove my retirement income from the tax system I didn't get any relief.

Tens of billions of dollars in business and personal income tax cuts have passed the Parliament, mere days after being announced in the Federal Budget on Tuesday.

The changes bring forward planned income tax cuts for millions of Australians and backdate them to July of this year, and allow businesses that make new investments to write off their entire cost in one year.
Treasurer Josh Frydenberg has said the Australian Tax Office will work to release new Pay As You Go tables as quickly as possible, meaning the income tax cuts will be in workers' pockets within weeks.
The laws passed the Parliament with the support of both major parties, but opposed by the Greens.

My Dad's accountant reckoned that if he ever came into a decent sum of money he would spend some on "****, molls, and racehorses." The balance he would just waste.

Wont even get a couple of happy meals out of that.

I served my country, I will get a half a bottle of Jack Daniels or half a case of the worlds best beer from South Australia.

.....and the other half next year.
