Yeah, all the above **** can happen in a wink. Obviously he can wake up in the morning & I reckon that's a good start to the day. The old "HIP HIP Hooray" of yesteryear just means the Zimmer Frame has arrived by Courier.

So I am advised, he hastens to add.

In that case we will have to find an appropriate vehicle for you to drive. Something suited to your age that will remind you of your youth. A Sentinel steam lorry perhaps.

Those of us unable to attend are awaiting the trip report.

    Who and how many attended.

Who got "lost" on the way home and woke up in a strange dwelling.

    Injury list.

Did anyone win the Quadrella. Drunk & disorderly, use obscene language, resist arrest, assault police.

    Ipswich Magistrate's Court.

You again Mr. V8Ian. What brings you before me this time?

    Two constables, Your Honour.

    Drunk, I suppose.

Yes, Your Honour. Both of them.

A bit too modern! I saw the right vehicle in a Paris museum - Cugnot's Steam Wagon of 1769:

    M. Cugnot appeared to have the right idea. One could have a Brew up whist steaming around the Parc du Mars.

I wonder how it was fuelled up when one was mobile?

I thought I recognised the suspension system. Land Rover bought the rights to the design.

It is rumoured that Noah sought advice from V8IAN regarding construction of his ARK so perhaps something of a similar ilk would be appropriate. Assuming the venue is close to water of course.
