my bed has been hijacked by my mate

My companion cat has hi jacked my $8.5 K special pressure relieving air mattress, most of the day and until I go to bed he's snoozing on it. When I kick him off at my bed time I get the I was here first look, find your own bed place, He does forgive me as during the night I some times feel a whisker or 2 in my face when he checks on me to see if I am still breathing. He's a good mate and often comes to my aid when I'm upset or crying and come and tries to assist when I am in difficulty. He even once alerted Heather when I had fallen in the back yard, He was watching me through the window, I fell and couldn't get up, he went to Heather and started to carry on, and ran to the back door.
As far as I concerned he can do no wrong, He fetches like a dog and is a good watch cat, he alerts us of any ones coming.

As I often say, animals make the best people!
Life is just a series of obstacles preventing you from taking a nap.

All I can say is, you're lucky to have a companion cat, rather than a horse.
Can you imagine trying to get a horse out of your bed or through a pet flap?
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

yep woken a couple of times and couldn't move my legs as he has sound asleep on my feet, that 5kgs of weight is enough to pin me down. On cold mornings if l move slightly and the doona leaves a gap he is known to scoot under and l can hear him snoring.

Wonderful! Brings a smile to my face

I understand people prefer dogs often since they seem to be less... owners of you

On the other hand, I had a cat like yours when I was young. Living quite far away from school I could not walk but had to take a long bike ride. Most days, half way home the cat was sitting on the side of the road somewhere waiting for me. Gave me a nod and jumped into the bushes where I could not cycle, only to see him a few corners later and so on till we got home. When I got bullied, and he was around, his nails got burried in the other kids face. One of a kind.

    Cherish her/him mate!

Who needs a dog, I think he thinks he's a dog. Heather takes him walkies on a lead. when he wants to go outside he fetches his harness and lead, he grabs it of the shelf, drags it to the back door drops it and then lays on his back and rolls on top of it trying to get it on.
When Heather comes he sits patiently and waits for her to fit the harness.

He has his favorite plastic Stick. He guards it when I say Stickie to him. If I grab it and play with him with it and throw it away he will run after it and fetch it back to me waiting for another throw. He must have K9 in him some how. He was a pound Kitten and my eldest son's cat but he became my best mate some how.
He goes by the uninspiring name of Kitty, yes a lot of thought went into that one. My son brought him here after a relationship break up and ended up here. The problem is the Vet microchipped him with my son's X details as owner, we cant get it changed without her permission but due to bad feeling that wont happen, so hopefuuly he doesn't get lost .
