It really comes down to pursuing every avenue to ensure that he can no longer be in a position to destabilise the country again. I point you back to the US law that I posted earlier. The fact that he was not physically there is irrelevant, he incited that crowd not just on the day but over months.

I think you misunderstand the seriousness of what has happened.

You don't not try and convict a bloke for murder just because he's going to die of cancer 2 days after he is sent to prison do you? Same with Trump....he needs to be held accountable for his actions.

He Most definitely incited the insurrection with his speech just prior to the attack.
What part of that don't you understand and what part of what he did doesn't warrant him being impeached for his actions.

The only "Ego" in play here is Trumps and because he Lost the election so he tried to bluster and bully a change the results in his favor and when that failed he resorted to insurrection, What a Looser.

He is the president of the United States and he behaved abysmally So he MUST be held accountable for his actions.

I saw an interview done with a staunch Trump supporter at "The Alamo" yesterday, he was asked the question "What would you do if you found out you were being lied to?" he said "I would be extremely angry and I would probably never vote again". No doubt there would be a large number of people that would feel the same way. So, allowing Trump to contest anymore elections on the basis of the lies he puts out would be a disservice to the very people that might vote for him.

I know you're likely just mustering up a bit of fun for yourself here as I don't think you're that dim that you don't comprehend what's going on, but really mate, you're the master of the circular argument.

I think the word you might be after for that speech is slightly different ..... inspire rather than incite. That was about bringing a country together, not tear it apart.

The issue is with what he has been lying about.

inspire, incite, influence, appeal. all have the same meaning. times change. maybe its time to tear america apart? in the long run, the first civil war was the best thing for americia.

biden needs to find a way to move forward. impeachment feels like gloating and i doubt will do any healing.
but hey, i think bidens too old for the job anyways.

just to circle back to voting based upon lies. biden lied in this 1988 presidental campaign, thats right, 32 years ago, about his degree's.
