isnt that up to the voters?

It really comes down to pursuing every avenue to ensure that he can no longer be in a position to destabilise the country again. I point you back to the US law that I posted earlier. The fact that he was not physically there is irrelevant, he incited that crowd not just on the day but over months.
I think you misunderstand the seriousness of what has happened.
You don't not try and convict a bloke for murder just because he's going to die of cancer 2 days after he is sent to prison do you? Same with Trump....he needs to be held accountable for his actions.
your being a bit hypocritical as usual.
the point of being a leader is to influence people. your just unhappy because the shoe is on the other foot.
too gutless? or just too old?
youve got the blinkers on again if you think trump is the only ego out there.
there is no way what happened at the capital building was ever going to lead to a coupe. that was an unorganized rabble.
Not if those voters are basing their decision on lies.
I saw an interview done with a staunch Trump supporter at "The Alamo" yesterday, he was asked the question "What would you do if you found out you were being lied to?" he said "I would be extremely angry and I would probably never vote again". No doubt there would be a large number of people that would feel the same way. So, allowing Trump to contest anymore elections on the basis of the lies he puts out would be a disservice to the very people that might vote for him.
I know you're likely just mustering up a bit of fun for yourself here as I don't think you're that dim that you don't comprehend what's going on, but really mate, you're the master of the circular argument.
all presidents incite. thats their job. example, JFK: ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country.
actually they do that all the time.
and you might know the answer to this question: can trump be pardoned if he is impeached?
which politician doesnt lie? lol especially in the US.
the fun part of this is the hypocrisy. will biden be subject to the same level of scrutiny? tump rocked the boat. he said **** you to the establishment. it was his whole campaign. the establishment went to extraordinary lengths, i would even call them unprecedented lengths to remove him. why? because he was different. trump refused to be made a part of the system. and thats why people voted for him. thats why he received 5million more votes that in the previous elections. not enough to win, but it show his message and values were recognized and well received by a lot of people. remember in the US, voting for president isnt like voting for the PM of aust. its a direct vote for him.
I think the word you might be after for that speech is slightly different ..... inspire rather than incite. That was about bringing a country together, not tear it apart.
Hah, that surprises me. I've not heard of that before. Certainly not for any high profile cases.
Technically I think he could. I have heard discussion of Biden possibly pardoning him ... which would be very hard for him to swallow I think.
inspire, incite, influence, appeal. all have the same meaning. times change. maybe its time to tear america apart? in the long run, the first civil war was the best thing for americia.
biden needs to find a way to move forward. impeachment feels like gloating and i doubt will do any healing.
but hey, i think bidens too old for the job anyways.
just to circle back to voting based upon lies. biden lied in this 1988 presidental campaign, thats right, 32 years ago, about his degree's.
Hillary lied about her emails
the list goes on
other hiprocasys, i'll make this short, im getting tired, past my bed time.
both side claim interference into the election. but democrats happy to accept the result even if it was influenced?
