 Draws too much attention to its original usage, which was derogatory.   ( Yes, Ian, I know which part of the bird you are referring to. In Victorian times Parsons were seen in unenlightened terms ). Objection when it mattered would have counted for nothing, and more recently nobody knows what a Parson is, let alone what's special about his nose.
