Oh that's a bummer. Hopefully it gets updated but it's probably a bit behind the big players in the map app game

Yeah very true, once you are off the major roads it really struggles particularly if you are looking for alternate routes..

Did I say that??? No. But I will say that I am more experienced than a few here. Not as much as some others. Does that make me wrong?

I take driving extremely seriously, as I have seen far too much road trauma for my own mental health.

I still maintain that I can walk and chew gum at the same time. If you can't then I am glad that you recognise that fact.

I have to add, I find it disappointing that you chose to talk about me, rather than to me.

My sister's house was in Anzac Ridge Road. You'd probably know it. It's the old stone job just above the tennis courts. She was chef at Petaluma/Bridgewater Mill back then, or maybe a bit later. I don't know how close the fires actually got to her place as I had two other sisters living in the Dandenongs who were in much more trouble. I was in Queensland at the time.

Given some of the things I've seen from a truck cab I'll bet the reviewer has an interesting time....

Is there a law against, no, on second thoughts I won't ask.

Don't take it too personally Tins, but all the figures show that phone usage and playing with all the other gadgets now in cars, is a huge cause of deaths and major trauma on the roads. No denying you're an experienced driver as am I, but the vast majority are not and are not much better than when they passed the test to get their license.

If mobile phones are a huge contributor to the road toll where is the statistical increase in deaths when they became popular and the statistical decrease in the road toll as the states introduced severe penalties for their use? I call bull**** on the "significant contributor" claim to the road toll. It's easy to find a few examples but the hard figures are missing.
