I've spoken to the victualler at Maidenwell, no need to book and we're welcome to camp at the pub.
Being totally in the dark, re attendee numbers, I informed them that I anticipated up to twenty couples. Area wise that is no issue, they will staff the pub accordingly.

Steve is looking into a trip on the Sunday morning, possibly the Bunya Mountains, but not arduous, taking into account the age and fragility of some SLOw vehicles and drivers.

Hoping for a big turnout, see you there.

For those that don't frequent FB...

Maidenwell Pub has free camping out the back, 24hr toilet, no showers or power.

The sports ground next door, there is a gate between, has free camping, showers $2.00 and toilets, no power. When we have stayed at the pub before most people walk to the showers at the sports ground. HTH

Steve, will we do a meet at D'Aguilar for the journey out?

Yep, Dag is good. Might stop at the cafe in Moore for a cuppa and catch up with Sue and Murray.

    Two questions.
    1) Will all attending vehicles, wishing for a day's outing, be able to ascend the Bunya Mtn's road?....and have the anchors to get down again?

    2) Is 90-100 km too long a day? Will roughly be Maidenwell to Bunya Mtn's Dandabah picnic area (30km), Dandabah to Kumbia pub, for a palate cleansing ale or whatever (30km) and then Kumbia to Maidenwell via the Glencliffe, Glencliffe/Wengenville, Glencliffe/Maidenwell roads . Maybe 40km, as it's a bit hard to tell.

Would like comments from the Series people, in particular. Oh, a Lada bloke may be applicable here?
