Mate, I am not wishing anything on you, nor am I crowing. I am just trying to state the situation as I see it. Unless you build a wall around WA (which McGowan would like to do I'm sure!) Covid is coming. And high vax rates are good and will hopefully see your health system cope. Omicron is just so contagious that vaccinated people are still catching it in droves. Vic was still above 90% though before we "let it rip" as you say. Our health system was around 60% full (of available Covid beds) at our peak of Covid cases a few weeks ago. Which meant we actually did ok. Our health services staff are knackered though with the calling of that Code Brown. Lets hope we're through the worst of it.Originally Posted by trout1105
