Should've seen the dirty looks I got, driving a truck through there. I'd love to do it again, but with a cattle crate.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Was in Aldi when it struck - lights swinging quite a bit and floor felt like jelly, pipes rattling in the ceiling. Took 10 or 15 seconds to figure out what was going on - lasted at least 30 to 45 second. Quite interesting.

I was making bookings and my two storey building shook. I assumed it was last nights curry for a minute or two. Sorry if it was me.

pathology patient came out quickly thankfully with needle removed. Shook us and rocked our world.

    Oddly almost a nice distraction

News over here is showing some building damage in Melb. Old facades would have been rocked. What is the earthquake build code like over there?

There's no earthquake code that I'm aware of - the Mornington Peninsula gets regular small quakes so perhaps they have some requirements?

That facade in South Yarra is the only damage that I've seen reported.

Edit: a couple of things fell down in South Yarra .... wonder why.

Imagine if you had a D2 with ACE and you were doing ACE testing with nanocom.

There is a test that says to keep clear of vehicle as it can violently rock from side to side.

How would it be if you hit the "Test ACE" button at the time the quake hit.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."
