    Mechanical Repairs and Service

    G'day,
Read a post a while back from Tony who has offered his workshop and expertise for those who wanted to learn some aspects of servicing and repairs.
I have now been over there the past 2 days learning how to repair a LT95 gearbox. Enjoyed the experience. Very satisfying as the work progresses.
Very easy to get along with, great set up with the workshop.
If you want to learn how to do some mechanical work it may be worth your while to drop him a PM (look up members list).

"Just an idea I had the other day and I thought I’d post it to see if anyone thought it would be a goer

Heres the go, have any of you budding landie mechs ever thought ‘I’d like to do that” but haven’t got the Tools, experience or space?

Well I have the experience home workshop fairly well stocked with tools

And as I’m being made redundant next week lots of spare time on my hands.

So would you pay to use my tools equipment and knowledge (and assistance if required)............... rather than

forking Out $80 _ $90 dollars an hour on labour chargers

I’m a licensed motor mech, most of my time spent on series and perentie 110’s and pre computer Range Rovers

I have extensive parts knowledge and my workshop (big shed) is in outer Sydney.

As to how much I have no idea if anyone thinks its worth while we could work out a price"

    David.
