Just a tip i thought I would share.
You get more effect campaigning against a proposal if you get everyone to email the respective officials instead of signing a petition.
Apparantly it is a lot harder to ignore hundreds of emails than an electronic petition.
You can find the email address of whoever is responsible for implementing this piece of legislation on their official parlimentary page

If you send a formal question be it by mail or E-mail then they are obligated to respond. Send a letter to the minister of the department for best effect. 2 weeks later if no response send it to all of them.
