If they were around today with proper QC and the bare minimum ADR's they'd sell like hotcakes.

If that was an mp4, you'd see it thrashing about.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Anyway, I was having a quick look around ... and what jumped out at me was the Citroen DS3 .... 1.6litre turbo charged car with 6spd manual gearbox. you could get one with low kms from the last decade for around $12,000 ......... They aren't as fast as a lot of the hot hatches ... but still as fast as a lot of supercars from the 70s' .......

then I found out about the issues with that 1.6litre motor .... .urggghhhhh..... Well that rules out the mini as well then .... and the poogoes with that 1.6 litre turbo petrol.

She'd like a Mustang ... but those thing have gone up in value rather than down by the looks of it over the last two years. What are other peoples thoughts on a small fun car ?

Nothing wrong with a Jimny, except for internal space. I'd have one as a vehicle for solo beach trips any day.

Noticed two more this morning. Both had a perma grin planted squarely on their faces They are quirky as in a good way I think.

Oh .... now that is something I hadn't thought of .... a little 1.4 petrol turbo ... proper gearbox. Could be a lot of fun. there isn't even a 4door version now I've just checked (pity they jacked it up in a stupid attempt to compete with the "SUV" market that every middle aged women seems to want).

I might see if there is one for sale locally to go and have a look at.
