Good Tradies are tough to find any where Insurance issues are a bit overwhelmed as well. A tap flooded a relatives house last week. Apparently 70K damage They were told it had to be done quickly before mold made the house uninhabitable. They cannot get onto the insurance company now due to NSW and QLD floods apparently.

Wet even were its not raining is very common apparently.

Sydney headline a few hours ago "rain bomb smashes city" and laughted at this one "When will it ever stop raining in Sydney?"

wet wet wet is a band of singers as well as rain! Keep safe all

[QUOTE=scarry;3138602]Same with the smaller work,i have leaks and maintenance work needed on our sheds, bloody hard to find a good roofer.

About 5yrs ago,i found one,a guy who works for himself, but he is bloody busy,so hard to nail down.

    As i say to him,i pay same day,which i do,they look after me,i look after them.I trust him,just DD the money over,done.

He fixes things once, properly,no rubbish left around,to cause more rust, and is proactive about what is going to need doing in the future,i often meet him there to look at it all,or he sends pics.[/

    busy,so hard to nail down.
You are so full of Puns lately Paul. Intentional or not. Have you tried screws?

Very easy to do, especially if it's dark and raining and you get there before the cops or council have put up signs or barriers. I nearly did on Sunday night in a area I know well.

Great, make mine 2xMeat pies with "Blood", 2 cheesecakes & 'arf a Jam roll.

Getting a tad hungry as have been trying to locate the owner of a dog that wandered in here this am. Bugger likes ALDI Cheese though. Owner just called & taken him off. Nice dog, I miss him already.

How to catch a stray dog Lesson 1 by Mr bee.

    Method.

He was quite a timid dog so I used small bits of Aldi's Speshul Fromage to draw him in closer then he got some larger bits until I could grab his collar & read the Council details, so phoned them. It really was the strangest thing though. The name on the Dog Tag it seems was the same name as a company I worked for once who gave me the irrits. but the guy had abbreviated the real name to that. I couldn't believe it, it was fate that had brought us together.

Anyway, finished up with ***** laying at my feet trying to have a zzzzzzzz & it felt like we'd been mates for a long time. The only thing I could grab as a "lead" in case he wanted to bugger off again was a bent wire coat hanger. No kid.

Anyway, once he heard tyres on gravel he knew the jig was up. We bid each other a fond farewell & off he went.

The bloke had built a new fence but ***** had easily got out. Now he has got the taste of Ye olde aged 50 years Aldi Speshul Fromage I just know he'll be back one day.

Maybe it wasn't the cheese that attracted him after all, but the classy Dog Lead.

I disagree, it appears like a normal Birth size to me.

Any bets going that "Rob Kayak" will be the kid's Godfather or even the kid's real Father?
