    MoveLater2 Series 1 1950 MY Steering Wheel

Are there any resources in Australia who re- Bakelite the steering wheel rim. I only know of Charlesworth in the UK.
    Many Thanks

If you're not a 'rivit counter' have you considered fabricating a timber one?

There is a guy on FB in Perth who restores the steering wheels and does a brilliant job.

If its only cracks in it, then some araldyte, a sand and then some black paint will fix it.

Plenty of places can do it, truck drivers get some pretty flash pearl and marble finishes. Enquite at your favourite auto upholsterer.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

I haven’t had any personal experience with them, but there is an ad in Restored Cars for Yesteryear steering wheel restoration. Phone number is 0400 998 863 or website Yesteryear Steering Wheel Restoration | Vintage | Repairs . They are in Warragul, Vic, could be worth a call.
    Cheers,
    Woolly.

It is actually cheaper to have done in pearl than black , not sure why .
