just look at crypto currency and Nvidea low rate hash cards,,

Digital security can be a lot better than paper security. Any plastic or paper can be forged relatively easily and very cheaply.

Many of us use digital wallets for our credit or debit cards on our phones.

Personally I want a Single government digital ID for for driving, fishing, medicare and several other bits jamming up my wallet.

NSW has not done it well. US states have been from 2014. Not a lot of hack reports?

Fully agree that almost all government introduced software is crap, cost more than it should and never does whats is needed in the first place It is available off the shelf so to speak Thales version
Turning of NFC and Bluetooth when not needed is a 101 rulz for security

it may be forged but if a police officer scans your licence he/she will see immediately that it's forged and from that point you can't go home.....

When they first issued digital High Risk Work License's in Victoria they were quickly proven to be insecure and easily forged.

They have beefed up security now.

What's wrong with my current, credit card sized licence? It has all the endorsements on it, including marine.
Why the need for a digital one?
