The closest I got was seeing Simon House at a Bowie gig.

Many years ago. Ginger Baker was on drums.

There was a strange smell in the air through out the concert, and I don't mean armpits

Since the expansion is faster the farther you get, there is a boundary we’re the expansion is faster than light. Anything beyond that, we can never see as light can’t reach us.

There is no way to know if there is an extent to to this.

    I didn't know that Red90

is there an hypothesis on that.....I understood it was slowing down , would cease expanding and start contracting.

    See my post #12!

There is also the possible solution that space-time is curved, so that there really is no end, in the sense that a Klein bottle or a Möbius strip has only one surface, only in four dimensions.

Your post is talking about distance and the total possible time is takes the light to reach us. That is not what I'm talking about. There is a expansion rate and the rate increases with distance. At a certain distance, the expansion rate is faster than the speed of light. If an object is moving away from us faster than light, then it is impossible for light to ever reach use, regardless of time and there is no way for us to see that it exists.

The real answer is that we don't understand any of it well enough to give an explanation.
